When selecting a household air purifier, it is essential to comprehensively evaluate core performance metrics, filtration technology, brand reliability, and long-term usage costs to strike a balance between purification efficiency and economic sustainability.


Core Performance Metrics: CADR and CCM Values

- CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) directly determines purification speed. The applicable area can be calculated as:  

Applicable Area (㎡) = CADR Value × 0.12.  


For example, a CADR of 400 m³/h is suitable for a 48㎡ space.  


- CCM (Cumulative Clean Mass)** reflects filter lifespan. Higher grades (e.g., P4/F4) indicate lower replacement frequency and reduced long-term costs.  


Products with high CADR and CCM values achieve both efficiency and economy.


Filtration Configuration and Purification Technology 

- Filter Layers: Composite filters (pre-filter + HEPA + activated carbon) comprehensively capture particles, formaldehyde, and bacteria. H13-grade HEPA filters achieve a 99.97% filtration efficiency for 0.3-micron particles.  


- Formaldehyde Removal: Technologies like photocatalysis and nano-gel decomposition break down formaldehyde effectively, preventing secondary pollution. Heavier activated carbon enhances adsorption capacity but requires regular replacement.  


- Sterilization Features: UV lamps (dual-sided designs offer broader coverage) and negative ion technology (with concentrations in the tens of millions) actively inactivate viruses, achieving sterilization rates of 99.9% or higher.
